Christmas Parades

One of the things we love about living in a small town is all the fun community events that take place. Both towns hold Christmas parades downtown, and the weather was gorgeous and unseasonably warm on both Saturdays, so we decided to go and take Anthony. The first one is always an old-fashioned horse and carriage parade, which is just so neat. Anthony had a blast and loved watching this parade in addition to walking around the courthouse festival and going in some of the downtown shoppes.

Chilling in the stroller before the parade starts.

Found our spot along the parade route.

Keep watching, it's about to start!

There it comes!

Horses and carriages...

Miniature horses!

I failed to take as many pictures at the second parade, but we still had a blast. It was more of a traditional parade with all the floats and bands. We got to see and wave to our cousin, Westin, on his football team's float for winning the district, and he threw some candy to us. Anthony also enjoyed the bands and getting to see Santa Claus riding through at the end!

Getting his vantage point on Daddy's shoulders.

Watching intently, looking for Westin.

I think this is when he saw Santa.
You would think he would be a little more excited.
