- We had to buy a lock for the fridge this month because Anthony learned how to open the door himself. He only occasionally would actually want something to eat, he mostly just wanted to rummage through and see what was in it and play with the light! If he was looking for something, it was usually tomatoes as this is his new favorite snack. He especially loves the little grape and cherry tomatoes. I had also talked last month about much he is wanting to feed himself now, but this month he pretty much insisted on it. He is getting so much better with a fork and spoon and fed himself an entire meal with a fork for the first time on November 19th.
- It has been a rough month sleepwise, starting with the time change. It completely threw Anthony off, and he really had some issues with going to sleep and sleeping in his crib during the night. So, we finally let him cry it out one night, and it worked like a charm! He cried for just a few minutes before falling asleep, and then every night after that has been wonderful. We lay him in his bed, tell him goodnight, and he falls right asleep and sleeps the entire night. In the process, he's fallen in love with his little glowworm and learned how to push it to make the music play. There's been a handful of times we've heard him turn it on over the monitor, and sure enough, he falls right back asleep. So proud of him and thankful he's getting such a good night's rest now.
- I cannot get Anthony to wear socks around the house! It has to be either barefoot or both shoes and socks on, and honestly, he really prefers to go barefoot. This, he gets from his Uncle Collin! I just hate it with the winter coming up cause I'm afraid his little feet will freeze. Time to invest in some house shoes for him!
- Anthony is all boy, and this month he's really been into wrestling, especially with Daddy. He's so funny though, he has this little war cry squeal he does before he runs over to pounce on you. You always know when he's about to tackle you because he'll let out that holler first. So funny!
Here are miscellaneous pics from this month, as well as several right after we put up the Christmas tree! (You'll notice all the bare feet in these pictures,...at least he has footed pajamas to keep his toes warm!)
Told you he loves to wrestle with Daddy!
Caught him red-handed breaking into the fridge!
Thanksgiving lunch at Aunt Nancy's house.
Notice the little tomatoes.
Snakes!
Trial run for family Christmas pictures. Loved the one above,
but couldn't make it work on the cards with David's head cut off.
Anthony's first look at the Christmas tree after we got it put up and decorated.
This is his favorite ornament - our Georgia Aquarium ball.
We had to redecorate and shift some ornaments around. We moved all the unbreakable
and ball ornaments to the bottom because Anthony loved getting his hands on them!
Watching some tv in the glow of the Christmas tree.
Showing Grandpa Ken his favorite ornament.
Time for a yogurt snack.
Showing the aquarium ornament to Lynn.
(I'm telling you, it was his absolute favorite!)
Nap time by the Christmas tree!
