Dollywood - Christmas in the Smokies

On the day after Thanksgiving, the three of us decided to take a family day and get in the Christmas spirit by going to Dollywood to see some shows and look at all the Christmas lights. We like visiting Dollywood throughout the year, but Christmas is by far our favorite time to go!

These two being silly while waiting on our lunch at Zaxby's.

We had to run through the bank on our way up,
and Anthony got a blue sucker for a treat.

Can you tell?

All bundled up in his stroller and ready to
check out Dollywood decorated for Christmas.

Posing by one of the big trees.

They set up a model railroad just during Christmas, and we knew
Anthony would want to check that out as soon as we got there.

How pretty!

Watching the trains go by with Daddy.

He couldn't take his eyes off them long enough for a picture.

The Chapel at Dollywood, looking pretty with snow on the roof.

It was still on the roof of the old schoolhouse too.

Grist mill.

Enjoying a snack as we wait in line to see "Christmas in the Smokies."
(My favorite show of all-time at Dollywood. It's just not officially Christmas until I see it.)

The sun set while we were in the show, so afterwards, we walked through the
park looking at lights. This tree was completely outlined in lights.

Everything was so pretty all lit up!

It sure was cold though! We warmed up in the train depot shop while Anthony played.

We only rode one thing that day - Anthony chose the cars...

...and wanted Mommy to go with him and drive.

Getting ready to watch the Christmas parade.

Here it comes!

They had a boat in the parade!

Thoroughly enjoying the parade.

A duck!

Oh, he's spotted something he likes!

It's Santa!

The tram ride back to the car is always the worst part! So cold!
