This Past Weekend

Well, this weekend was certainly busy, more so than we anticipated, but we had a great time! David did get to feeling better, however, we didn't get home until around midnight Sunday night, and he was sick again then, and today was his first day back at work so it really did him in...

Mom cooked an amazing supper for when we got home on Friday night, and we got a nice surprise in that we could pick up Andy's football game on the satellite. They lost, but it's always good to see him play.

We went to see Westin and Cale play Upward Basketball at the church on Sunday, and they were so cute! What a really great program it is and a wonderful outreach for our church.

The play on Saturday night was amazing! Quentin and Tony were excellent! Jessica got to come that night and sat with us, so that worked out well. Also, it was so funny...we were waiting out front before it started, and this guy came up to talk to Jessica, and all of a sudden he looked at David and said, "Hey, man, how're you doing?" Turns out he and David were in Joseph together our sophomore year in college at the Wesley Foundation, and he had played Joseph and knew Quentin and Jessica from some plays in Chattanooga last fall...crazy small world when it comes to theatre. Anyway, the website for the theatre is www.redclaytheatre.com. If you get a chance, definitely go see something!

The Lady Vols didn't disappoint us on Sunday...they won 77-37 over Arkansas. They're incredible! We had the chance to go out and eat afterwards with Meagan and her parents and grandma, so it was good to spend some time with them too. I don't think I had seen her family since our wedding...

Anyway, hope everyone is having a good week. Below are some basketball pictures for you.
