This was just over a month ago, it was the weekend before David's original research proposal, so I went up with Mom and Dad to see Collin. They had been to Grandfather Mountain a couple of times before, and I had always wanted to go too. It was such a nice day, and I got my fill of mountains while we were there. It's right off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Linville, North Carolina. They have a road up to the top, a suspension bridge, hiking trails, and wildlife habitats. You can see more about it here:
