The Saturday after my birthday, we planned to meet some friends in downtown Chattanooga as they were traveling through. Unfortunately, it ended up not working out, but since we were already there and had a whole day free, David suggested I turn it into a day of celebrating since we hadn't gotten to do much the day of my birthday. He said I could pick anything I wanted for us to do the rest of the day, and of course, there was only one way to start off:
Breakfast at Chic-fil-A!
Anthony's too busy eating to pause for the camera.
On the Walnut Street Bridge in downtown Chattanooga. It was a gorgeous day!
We introduced Anthony to the fountains at Coolidge Park.
He can't quite figure it out.
Now he wants to touch it!
Slowly inching closer and closer...
Using his stroller as a walker.
He had just taken his first steps a couple weeks before
so he loved walking around in the grass at the park.
Surprised to see him sitting in the grass like this.
You can tell he still doesn't quite like the feel of it though.
Daddy's lap is better!
So is Mommy's!
After lots of fun at the park and on the bridge, we headed to Cheeburger Cheeburger for burgers and fries! Anthony got his first pack of restaurant crayons and placemat!
Such a fun day celebrating with these two!

(And yes, we were all three decked out in Tennessee apparel including Anthony and I with matching shirts on. It was the day of the TN-FL football game and was a Top 25 match-up with ESPN Gameday broadcasting from Knoxville, and we were pretty optimistic. Sadly, UT lost and the season only went downhill from there!)
